Venus Transit

SITE INFORMATION: (55°19'55" E - 20°59'56" S - Altitude: 489 m) Saint-Paul Reunion Island 

First of all, it's very difficult to analyse the pictures and to find the good time.

Here, are  MY  LAST  estimates of 3 contacts, During the next days Areca's members and I will study exactly the pictures.

 The first one was out, because I had technicals problems (no power!!!)

This picture is (for me) the most better one for the second contact...

Transit de Vénus

Two stations  were used:

  1. C9.25 + GP-DX + Skysensor 2000 PC with a Webcam ToUcam Pro. (measures of the four contacts, I hope!)
  2. 700 mm Refractor on a super polaris (thanks to Thierry PAYET) with a Canon 10 D (measures and pictures that was on live).

 

My friends and club members (ARECA) will did the same with two stations:  GH 300 and the LX 200 12' SCT. The link: http://www.astrorun.com/

Deux postes de mesures ont été utilisés:

  1. Ma station fixe qui comprend mon équipement habituel : C9.25 sur GP-DX pilotée par Skysensor 2000 PC, L'optique supportera une Webcam ToUcam Pro.

Objectif de ce poste: Prendre les mesures des 4 contacts (ambitieux? Un peu oui....)

  1. Et un second poste qui comprend une super polaris (merci Thierry PAYET) sur trépied équipée d'une platine qui a permis à un boitier Canon 10 D derrière une lunette de 700mm de focale, de faire des images.
